How to Choose the Right Castor Wheel
- 01
Load per castor
Divide the total load (trolley + goods) by the number of wheels, then size for one wheel fewer: on uneven floors, three wheels often carry the full load. A 600 kg trolley on 4 castors needs castors rated about 200 kg each.

Floor
Epoxy or tiled floors → PU. Smooth concrete → nylon or PU. Rough or outdoor ground → rubber or pneumatic.

Environment
Heat → high-temperature or phenolic. Wash-down or corrosive → SS304 or polypropylene. Electronics → ESD.
